Behind a familiar smile, there may be a story that has never been heard. A person can keep working, keep attending church, and keep caring for others while carrying wounds that shape every relationship. How do we learn to recognize those experiences and respond with understanding? Kingdom of God College presents From Dry

Places to Kingdom Destiny, the Certified Mental Health Practitioner program developed by Doctor B. Theron Williams. This twelve-week curriculum prepares participants for responsible support in faith-based and community settings. Across fifteen chapters, you study the author’s model of woundedness and restoration.

You learn how hiding, fear of harm, helplessness, heaviness, and hopelessness develop into the profile of the Walking Wounded. You also examine how an unresolved offense can move through hurt and anger toward resentment, bitterness, hatred, and rage. The training brings those ideas into real conversations.

You practice listening carefully, recognizing patterns without rushing to a conclusion, and helping a person identify an appropriate next step. Biblical foundations and professional literacy inform the work, while ethical boundaries guide the response. The program covers practical techniques and tools for reflection, support planning, progress documentation, and

referral. You learn how to document what the person reports, distinguish observation from interpretation, and recognize when licensed professional care is needed. Preparation includes supervised application. The current practicum standard calls for at least twenty contact hours and ten hours of structured supervision,

documented separately. Client documentation remains separate from student competency assessments. Understanding must become conduct that a supervisor can observe and assess. This is institutional training for the Kingdom of God College C M H P credential. It does not confer state clinical licensure or authorize psychotherapy.

That distinction strengthens responsible practice and clear collaboration with licensed professionals. This program is designed for pastors and ministry leaders, community workers and others called to support people through difficult experiences. It offers a structured path to deeper understanding and accountable service. From Dry Places to Kingdom Destiny.
